Lenore would not have liked it

I planted 2 fields at the Prust house last week.  Lenore would not have liked it.  Too cold ... too wet ... and I didn't work it.

No, she wouldn't have liked this:

I planted them without doing any tillage

There were a few places I kind of doubted my sanity

 One of the problems was caused by old wheat straw.

In some places the straw was so rotten it just tore off the roots.  I found slowing to 3 1/2 MPH let the straw work through.
